Strike Out Cancer Tournament

Started in 2014 after a former Hudsonville High school student, Thomas Sikkema, was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. Thomas underwent a brain surgery, rounds of chemotherapy, and radiation for many months in order to make sure he could return to baseball for his senior year. Luckily, Thomas was successful in his treatment.

With the help of friends, family, teammates, and Hudsonville faculty, his dream of raising funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital was made into a reality.

The 8th annual tournament will be held on Saturday, May 21st at the Hudsonville Public Schools Sports Complex – located at 3835, Baldwin St, Hudsonville, MI 49426.

Donations will be accepted.

Opening ceremonies of the Tournament start at 10:00 am at the Varsity baseball field, including multiple guest speakers and the first pitch.
